A Friday night out on the town for L.A. Lexus enthusiasts

We've attended our share of big name shows and local meets this year that celebrate a particular manufacturer, for example, Eibach Meet for Hondas, Toyotafest, Sevenstock for Mazdas, and more. One group which doesn't seem to have many of their own events is Lexus. Undoubtedly, the brand has a smaller enthusiast following compared to the bigger brands; however, there is still a strong contingency of Lexus guys and girls, especially when you think about how the VIP scene is made of up several Lexus models. The introduction of more performance-oriented F and F Sport models has made Lexus fans out of many of us as well. So while we might've thought the car scene has gone into hibernation following SEMA, last Friday Lexus enlisted the help of Race Service to host an intimate night out on the town in LA. dubbed "Lucid." The event showcased five modified Lexus cars which included Dana Balthasar's newly-wrapped Pandem RC F, Jay Cray's Liberty Walk LC500 and Steve Wong's LS400. We can't forget about that black LFA that was there for everyone to drool over and the first public showing of our SUV-themed Project UX. With tacos and beers on hand, the event was a hit as the Lexus car community was finally in the spotlight. Fingers crossed this will be one of many Lexus-themed pop-ups to take place moving forward.
