Kia comes out hard with its first ever performance RWD sedan, presenting a number of built examples at the annual Las Vegas tradeshow

Kia has come out hard in its first ever pursuit into the performance RWD sedan segment and the Stinger GT. From the looks of the West Coast Customs Widebody and the Federation, this might be one of the best of the segment for tuners.

The West Coast Customs Stinger GT features a design inspired by GT racing cars of the 1970s but brought forward to today. The widebody kit is made from all carbon fiber, there are areas of exposed carbon but there is a blue-tinted clear to match the Blue Metallic paintjob of the rest of the car. Under those widened haunches sits a set of custom and rebranded 21-inch Keen Forged Wheels. Inside is a custom interior that WCC is well known for with a Gray Leather Dash Panel while the Alcantara covered steering wheel features WCC Blue trim and the front seats feature WCC Blue Leather Seat Piping. The center console trim is carbon fiber and a Harmon Kardon Stereo System pumps out music with a Subwoofer in the back.

The Stinger GT Federation represents the partnerships with aftermarket companies to create factory accessories for the Stinger. There is a Borla exhaust system with quad tips and a K&N Air Intake System for the engine. The wheels are a set of 20-inch TSW wheels wrapped in Falken Azenis tires that match the lowered and better handling suspension from Eibach. Finally, Air Design USA offers up a rear spoiler, rear diffuser, and redesigned hood vents for the Orange colored Stinger.

If Kia is coming out of the box with these types of parts for the Stinger GT from the showroom floor, we might have an interesting performance sedan on our hands in the very near future. We can't wait to see what the rest of the aftermarket has instore for Kia's RWD four-door.

Inspiration in car building can come from just about any direction and, more often than not, thrives when influence from outside the norm works its way into a builder’s final product, and this 1991 Honda Civic is a prime example of that notion. Borrowing from multiple styles helped create a one-of-a-kind ED chassis Civic that

Fourteen years is an eternity for a chassis to remain in production without a complete redesign. We rarely see cars, even special interest or sportscars eclipsing the 10-year mark in the Japanese vehicle realm with a single chassis. Sure, it happens, but it’s not a common occurrence though Nissan seems to push those limits as

Alright, you know the drill: new car is introduced and immediately it’s regarded as the worst design of all time, a product of car X and car Y creating an unwanted baby, and, of course, the always popular, “they should have asked me to design it.” It’s expected in modern times, especially with social media’s

If there’s a Bentley Continental hovering around your neighborhood, chances are it accelerates only rapidly enough to jump in front of the next guy on its way to Starbucks for that $8 latte. It probably doesn’t have any intention of attacking the clock at a weekend track day, and certainly doesn’t aspire to climb a

Nothing makes Super Street fans angrier than a prototype or rendering and up until now, that’s all we could offer regarding the 11th gen. Honda Civic. The burnt orange Civic sedan prototype that we talked about in November of last year signified a new direction for Honda who, at least in the enthusiast market, spent
