Murdered Out Mk5 Toyota Supra With Pandem Body Kit & Work Meister Wheels Is Making Moves

The 2020 SEMA Show ain't happening, but here's looking back at one of the sickest A90 Supra builds of last year.

The last time you saw this 2020 Toyota GR Supra Launch Edition, it was a tad more high profile, parked front and center of the Yokohama Tire booth at the SEMA Show last year. Wearing one of the first-ever Pandem widebody kits, Work Meister S1 wheels, and a signature Advan livery designed by Jon Sibal, it looked like a race car straight outta Gran Turismo or from a poster pinned up on a wall of a famous garage in Japan.

The 2019 SEMA build was executed with a clean JDM style that won our hearts, despite the oversaturation of Kei Miura's fender conversion for the fifth generation Supra. It's been nearly a year since that memorable week in Las Vegas and we've come to find out that this particular Supra has found a new home. Previous owner Garrett Jarboe has passed the baton to Joshua Nepa of Phoenix, Arizona.

Josh is a bona fide and hardcore Supra fanatic who also owns a fully customized Mk4 which we'll feature in the coming weeks. Since SEMA, you'll notice the Advan livery has been removed and the car is now all-black with only red accents noticeable in the front tow hook, brake calipers and logos of the wheels. There's carbon fiber that's been added to the mirror caps, while the passenger headlight has been replaced with an Eventuri carbon duct allowing more cold air to be fed into the intake (which is also a carbon Eventuri piece).

Inside, the Launch Edition comes with red seats and trim; however, Josh has added carbon fiber to virtually everything he could think of with the help of NVSpecialties. The final component is the Studio RSR roll bar and trunk brace that's been painted red, complementing the visual black-and-red theme of the car.

Some might not give Josh too much credit for taking ownership of a completed project car, but one only needs to consider the guts and hard work it takes to chop up the body of a perfectly good Supra in the name of installing an over-fender kit, then paint-matching everything to look flawless. You have to also consider the time and connections it took to get some of the first-ever produced parts for the A90 Supra, like the extra-wide matte black Work wheels from Japan, and all of the carbon goodies.

The new Supra is still relatively fresh in the scene and despite being just a year later, it's safe to say this example built by Garrett Jarboe, now owned by Josh Nepa, will go down as one of the most memorable examples we've ever seen.
