The TG boys visit the West Coast on the way to Mexico

Your favorite band of automotive misfits embarked on countless adventures all over the world during their television run of 20-something seasons. From Abu Dhabi to Australia to Vietnam, the original Top Gear trio has abused tires and banged gears in just about every region and that includes the good ol' U.S. of A.

In Series 19, Episode 2, the boys hit U.S. soil and do what they do behind the wheel of 3 very interesting vehicles. Clarkson jumps in the driver's seat of Lexus' super flex, the LFA, while Richard Hammond pilots a brolic SRT Viper and James May, a Vanquish from Aston Martin.

Beyond the fact that 3 rather muscular vehicle offerings from various manufacturers are exploited throughout the multi-part series, the fact that much of the scenery is familiar to viewers that reside in or have frequented So Cal and Las Vegas, makes it that much better.

You've seen the trio blast down city streets in foreign lands on multiple episodes but there's something altogether cool about seeing these three cars go head-to-head down the Vegas strip and other landmarks as they make their way toward Mexico. Clarkson even gets a quick sprint down the quarter mile while in Sin City. Like most episodes, Top Gear does an outstanding job of bringing you along for the ride as they get into ridiculous scenarios and various day-dream moments that only car-guys and girls can appreciate.

For the last few weeks, we've been telling you about Top Gear Tuesday as we reminisce over some of our personal favorite episodes. Every week more Top Gear-related content is added to the Motor Trend app and you can get full access to the entire library for next to nothing.
